We supposed to trust people who have the knowledge and experience.If they decide to cheat due to advertising hype what can we do?

Engineers know what they are doing if they are overruled by management to fiddle the figures we all lose.

Wasn't the US decision to rig the numbers, based on the cost of feasible Nox reduction measures? Delete option exercised by bean counters, therefore engineers provided a way to disguise the omission, using built-in Bosch code.
