Whilst abroad recently, I thought it would be a good idea to check the tyre pressures of the hire car. The petrol station tyre gauge had a single dial and two lines, enabling you to set the same pressure across an axle, effectively halving the work and balancing the pressures.
I've never seen anything like it before or since.

How do they attach to the valve?

Just the same as a footpump-over-centre clip! Common-particularly in France.
