I got a card from Citroën UK today, with the offer of a free MOT. All I had to do was download a voucher from the website, and take it along to my Citroën dealership before 31st March, 2010 to receive a free MOT.

There is only one slight problem. Because the Berlingo's MOT was due before the 3rd of March, I had it done a couple of weeks ago (at one of establishments that just do MOTs.)

Has anyone else received a free MOT offer from Citroën?

Edit: And by the way, I claim my prize for being the first person to use the word 'Berlingo' on this forum.

The MoT on my Escort runs out on 31st March. If you don't need that voucher any longer I'll take it off your hands, and give £20 to the charity of your choice.

All you need to do is book your test by completing the registration form with your chosen participating dealer. You will then receive an email with a personalised voucher. You MUST print off the voucher and take it to your chosen participating dealer in order to redeem your free MOT.

I had a feeling that may be a step too far. Mind you with the shocking lack of Citroen history my local dealers have yours may well fall for the re-badged Ford.

Bums ! I've got 6 Citroens to take for MOT over the next couple of weeks but none are 4 yrs old....all first timers.
I've got the garage down to £35, though.

You may not have to - I would speak to the dealer and say one of their customers has declined the offer but you would be happy to browse their show room whilst the free MOT is carried out.
