1. Click on the box that has an irregular colour compared to the rest of the boxes.
2. The test starts when you click on the first box.
3. You have 15 seconds to decide on each grid.
4. When you click the wrong box you will lose 3 seconds.

I scored 31, which isn't bad considering I'm supposed to be colour-blind!

Hmmm I got 21 with 3 errors, but it thought that superb. It gets quite tricky as you go on...
|
I scored 8 - is that good or bad?? .. I couldn't see any difference at all at all in the 'of colour' colour.
|
13.... and I am colour blind
|
Just tried again. 35 this time.
|
lucky you got 8! as Dogs only have monochrome vision don't you!
|
31 - Red/green deficient.
Graphic designer.

Musta done it wrong ike, I didn't realise there was a thyme limit. I'll do it again when I've had my Lancashire cheese sandwich.

Well I did say right at the start:
3. You have 15 seconds to decide on each grid.
4. When you click the wrong box you will lose 3 seconds.
Should've gorn to Specsavers ;)

Hahaha! - you wont believe this but, I'm a Dog with a score of 14 "You have decent colour vision. You see most of the sticks that are thrown to you but sometimes you're just lost".
:-D
|
26, one or two in the last few seconds quite close but spotted them.
|
The link doesn't work for me at the moment so haven't tried it, but don't the results depend to some extent on the quality of your device's display?
|
31 - ROBOT
Your color vision and survival skills are incredible. You can recognize a mosquito from miles away.
|
26 - Really struggled with some of the later ones though.
|
I seemed to get a high score, but the text was strangely rude about me I thought. I couldn't make much sense of it.
|
I'm up to 22 on this blimming thing, but I think I'll throw in the towel now.
|
I think colours vision deteriorates quite markedly as you age. I suspect the high scorers are probably the younger members. Ability to differentiate different shades of blue is apparently particularly marked.

That's right, I really struggled to see any difference with some of them and, as Focus states:
"the results depend to some extent on the quality of your device's display?"

Well I've tried it on my iPad Air, Philips 18.5" LED (196V3L) Monitor, and an old 17" HP monitor (work PC) which has to be at least 10 years old. Can average over 26 on each of them.
It's the light pinks and dark blues that I struggle with in that test, which is odd as I'm red/brown/green colour-blind.
When I had the test at school I was told that I wouldn't be able to do electronics, which has not only turned out to be a hobby of mine, but periodically I do at work too. I've previously had to wire up CCTV systems with 25 multicore cables and the like. I start with the easy colours, and the ones I struggle with (e.g. red wires with a brown tracer, or vice versa) I leave until last and ring them through with a multimeter. Same with resistors. If I'm unsure of the colours I put them across a multimeter to confirm whether I've read the coloured bands correctly. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I mangaged 21 with 1 mistake.
|
Maybe my Dell U2515H Ultrasharp monitor gives an advantage. I should try another display.
It's some of the 'browns' that get me I think. And red more than green and blue.

It's addictive, I'm up to a whopping 25 :)
|
The red used for "Access DENIED!" is quite nice.
("Restricted Category: Gambling")
:(

Just got 37. You're right, it's addictive.

I know. If I take the other test (which I can't find on line right now - the circle with dots in it showing / not showing a number) then I fail miserably.
|
24 with two errors, and got all of Dog's Ishihara plates with no bothers.
|
I got them all. I have 'normal colour vision'. But I knew that anyway.
|
I get curiously variable results.
I think it depends to some extent on luck, whether the first difficult one happens to come early or later.
Also I score much better if I take it at a run rather than looking too carefully.
