S'funny seeing dead cars, they used to fascinate me on my walkabouts in Tenerife, going where I shouldn't,
A nice Vulva PV 544 there TeddyBoy ~ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Volvo_pv444_v_sst.jpg

I rather like the Renault 4....early one with the little grille.

They're obviously not into banger racing in Sweden. If they were those big old Granadas would have been snapped up ages ago.

Like a dream Ted, on and on. Like the contents of one's mind almost, in a way.
There were still Austins etc being sold in Sweden in the early fifties but they disappear once the Swedes are producing their own, much better cars. German too, DKW, Borgward... and the Taunus 17M, so much quicker and better made than British Fords of the time...
Boy those Swedes certainly know how to screw a car up like a cigarette packet and chuck in the bushes, don't they?

Some lovely stuff there...in it's day, Arm.
Always liked ' fastback ' saloons...hence the Javelin. 2 or 3 featuring later on in the show and a Bradford covered in snow.
Love those early Saabs, the ones with no front grille......Sonettes, perhaps ?

Self-correction...Sonett was sportier.
The ones I saw were the Saab 92, I think, but did have a grille. 1951ish...maybe varients made.

If you go far enough into the pictures (I was bored, but even so I never reached the end) there's a Skoda 120 turbo.
I can't find any reference to such a beast, other than non-standard with non-Skoda engines.

On holiday in Dorset 2 years ago I came across an overgrown abandoned caravan park.
It was full of decaying 60s caravans, and cars and campers from the same era. It was very weird, as if the entire site had suffered a poison gas attack or a visit by aliens with ray guns.
Outside the warden's static van was his rusted bicycle, sunk in about 6 inches of leaf mould. I peeped inside half expecting to find his skeleton still watching an old TV show.
