Now that I have an iphone, I see that there is a 5 year old "sticky" on the non motoring forum about running RSS feeds on an iphone.
Do they still exist? Benefits of doing it as against opening web page on phone?

The main benefit of an RSS feed is that instead of having to visit a website to see if there is any new content, content comes to you in one centralized location.
You don't have to open up each thread either.
Personally though, I still prefer doing the latter, rather than via an RSS feed.
