The one at the front is the driver, the middle one is the captain, and the one at the back is the engineer. Take your pick. I have tried to use non technical terms that you will understand. :-)

Possibly, my troops had been known to call me Chewbacca, when they thought I was out of earshot. I suspect at times they thought I was a big hairy grumpy bast***.

Apparently the Google Doodle commemorates the fake sea monster photo published 81 years ago.

The photo, printed in the Daily Mail in 1934, was a hoax. The doodle shows an animated monster submarine driven by three aliens and challenges users to find the monster with Google's Street View.
