One of these paralleled me today on the morning trundle up to the M4. I didn't know what it was, or even that there was a four-door 4 (turns out to have five, like the A5 Sportback to which BMW admits it's a riposte) but it's certainly a handsome beast. Doesn't fit any niches in our domestic ecosystem at the moment, but I wouldn't say no.

I do like the 4. Only seen a couple of them mind. At first I thought it was just a renamed 3 coupe.

I quite like the 4 Gran Coupé too. It was even in reach if I paid up enough for it. But with a few options I'd want, I would be worse off and decided to save money this time.

The M4 convertible us a fine looking car. Sufficient horses to keep me happy...would even forgo a 2 seater for one of those.
