Is this the piece that was so special the Pope decreed it could only be sung once a year in the Vatican and nowhere else in all Christendom? Or was that some Tallis piece like Motets en Espace and I've got it all hopelessly confused (probably)?

Oh ta. Well, right lines anyway. And the Tallis of course I was thinking of was Spem in Alium anyway, which is right up there with the greats in my opinion, not that I'm into music particularly. But it bounces round the room nicely.
