Hey @everyone.
Been visting this board a couple of times now...but never got registered....until today. :)
The name´s Brian and my parents and me moved to Hamburg,Germany when I was pretty young. I´m into cars of all kind, but still evolve my skills when it comes to tuning which is the main reason why I´m here. :) So please, don´t be mad if I´m asking something that´s "yesterdays news" for the pro´s among you. Actually I´m driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Cheers,
Brian

As nobody else is being polite at the moment - welcome, Brian!
We're a surly lot, you know! :-)

Hello Carlos.
Not sure you'll get much tuning advice here, and if you do it will be conflicting. But don't let that put you off.
|
Welcome indeed !
No, I guess tuning might be a bit of a specialist subject for many here but never fear, they're jolly good on winter tyres and the complexities of getting bargains in Aldi and Lidl so all may not be lost !
Edit - Oh and there's one we know as AC but call Lud ( it'll all become clear don't worry ) who has a PT Cruiser too.

"...there's one we know as AC but call Lud ( it'll all become clear don't worry )..."
Some hope. There are a lot of people who have changed their names and/or are called something different.

Willkommen im Irrenhaus Herr Fandango.

Mind you, if it's washing machines, dish washers or other household appliances you require tuning advice on you'll get plenty here.
As some of us are ashamed to point out.

Fandango, I seem to be the token female here and they tolerate me;)
Please tell me you're not into cooking or baking your own bread...we have enough of those already!
Welcome aboard:)

Morning Sir´s and Pat...:)
Thanx for the nice "welcome". And yes...after looking a little closer into what this forum´s really about,I came to the conclusion, that the word "tuning" wasn´t the right word to choose...:D
@Pat: what´s wrong with baking my own bread? (<--which I don´t :D )

>>@Pat: what´s wrong with baking my own bread?<<
You have to ask?:)
I hang around here because I always worked in a man's world, I miss their humour, points of view and wouldn.t know what to talk about on boredhousewives.com either!
Every few months a select few on here start going on about breadmakers, recipe's and dishwashers.
They should be banned for life;)
Castrol R smells far better than baking bread anyway.

"@Pat: what´s wrong with baking my own bread? (<--which I don´t :D )"
Let me put this delicately: there are some here who doubt Pat's culinary skills. (Pat is one of them.) And there are some who parade their own prowess in the kitchen - and make a big meal out of it, so to speak.
Occasionally the two worlds collide.
Personally, I just concentrate on keeping my knives sharp.

Uuuuuhmmmmm....okay....I could say, that I doubt it, but obviously I dont dare. ;)
But I know what you mean.
I mean I have some kitchen skills, but I ´m far from being "all in your face about it". Plus, i wouldn´t call myself a "Chef" or somthing like that.
So, you prefer hangin´ with the boys, huh?
NICE! :D
Tell me, you hate Ewoks, and we´re in business...:)

I had to Google them to find out what they are!
