Hello all,

I have treated myself to a tablet and popped a 32gb memory card in it. I have bought season 7 of Doctor Who from Google Play but can't work out how the deuce to get the episodes from Google Play onto the sd card so I can watch them without having to be online. Every time I start them downloading, they default to the device. What am I doing wrong????

Which version of Android / Samsung firmware ?

It's Android 4.2.2, but I've no idea how to check the Samsung details.

I think the Galaxy Tab2 10.1 is the same as my Galaxy 4, and there was no option to store apps on the SD card.

There was just an update to change that.

However, I also had a problem saving anything to the SD card which I hadn't noticed because of the above restriction. I resolved that by using the phone to reformat the SD card. Just make sure you've got nothing on it before you do.

Again assuming its the same as my phone, once I did that it automatically started offering the SD card to store on.

Can he store anything on the SD card? If he looks under settings/this device/storage does it show the SD card and how much space is available?
