Has anybody got one of these, used one of these, or can even point me to an English language website about them?
I'm after instructions. And none of the Spanish language websites I can find have anything useful to say and I cannot find any European or English Language website. All they say is that they can be connected to the mobile phone but don't say how.
Somebody has given this to No. 1 and my comments of "chuck it and get a decent one" didn't go down well. Turns out it is from a boy.
As punishment I have to make it work.

No idea on websites or English instructions but it seems to be a USB chargeable device so if battery is flat it'll need a USB to mini/micro lead to charge it up.
Connection to mobile phone looks like a 3.5mm jack at speaker end. If phone lacks such a jack is there an adaptor available?
Are any of you tube vids any good ?

Nothing I can find Bromp.
It has a headphone jack. This seems to work as just that, and not an input.
It has a full size USB, which it seems to be willing to charge from, but nothing else occurs.
It has a mini (or micro, never know the difference) USB. This it will also take a charge from, but again nothing else seems to happen, in or out.
It'll use any lead which is plugged in as an aerial and plays FM radio.
It came with a "multi function" lead. Mini (whatever) USB at one end, fullsize USB & headphone jack at the other.
I have tried every combination of plug into socket into device, I'm missing something which I don't think I can find by trial and error.
The adverts say "connect it to your cell phone or MP3 player" but nothing else.

Its a Fujitel Cube 3, loads of youtube vids if search using that.

Thanks for the YouTube suggestion from Bromp and for the "Cube 3" name from Zero.
However, I didn't get anywhere despite watching several of them. If there is a way of changing the input then I can't find it.
It plays FM radio. It won't play music from an SD card and I can't get it to play any input through the micro USB.
Inevitably therefore I conclude that either I am not smart enough to change the source or it does it automatically and is broken.
Either way, there goes my nomination for 2013 Father of the Year.

There appear to be several types of cube. One is bluetooth, receiving the signals wirelessly while another is for stereo, plugging the phone output into the socket with the headphone sign and the other 3.5mm socket being used to connect to a second cube. The full size USB port will be for receiving a memory stick with mp3 files on.

Cracked it.
I watched about a millionth video by yet another tiresome South American 8 year old and this one said nothing, but I noticed him pressing the play button.
A bit of experimentation and it turns out that pressing and holding the play button cycles through the available sources.
Thank you all. I will mention each of you in my Father of the Year acceptance speech.

If you were Father of the Year material you'd have asked an eight year old first - not a bunch of oldies. Some of whom are nearly forty for Glub's sake!

You miss the fact that it is an 8yr old and her 11yr old sister that I am trying to appear superior to.
|
Have you told them that you got the answer from an 8yo youtuber?

There are times you need to slap the 8 year olds down.
Words like "See you think you know it all but Daddy told ya" (make the L sign) "LOOOSER"

Like hell I have!! I bathed in 10 seconds of glory and admiration before having to admit that I failed to fix the fishing rod reel.

As No. 1 said to me about a week ago...
"What is another word for Papa that begins with "L" and ends with "ooooosseeeeerrrrrr"?
