Well, the afternoon actually, but that doesn't scan quite so well!
I know that it's frowned upon to bang on about oneself on a public forum but I'm just so excited that I'd thought I'd cast off the traditional British reserve.
At 1400 tomorrow afternoon, I will marry the love of my life and I simply cannot wait! My life has been so much better since we met and the thought of her being my wife and of being with her for the rest of my life fills me with an indescribably wonderful feeling.
Anyway, I'll stop there as I'll probably make the resident curmudgeons (hi, Zero!) feel quite bilious if I carry on.
See you in a few days!
Cheers,
Rob

Good luck mate.................
|
Best of luck Badwolf... I have been happily married for 10 years......
........Trouble is I celebrated my 36th wedding anniversary last week ...........
Joking aside , its nice to see how enthousiastic you are about the wedding and life together with your soulmate. I wish you all the best .
Actually SWMBO and I are still happy together and best mates as well -
Sadly we think so much alike that last week we bought each other the same anniversary card entirely independently.
|
Good luck to you both Badwolf, and it's nice to see a man with a bit of emotion too:)

Congratulations Badwolf. All the best.

I've had a peek at your profile, Rob. All the very best to you and Sue.

T3ed.....41 yrs without parole.
|
My very best wishes to you both. It's charming of you to be so pleased and to admit it to us.
|
Congrats Rob. I shall wave manically and throw confetti at every bus driver in Southport next time I'm there, though I have to say as someone who's been 'living over the brush' for the past 15 years, I rather think you're letting the side down by going legal :-)

*** IT WILL NEVER LAST ***
That's what they said about us 40 years ago (hahaha!)
Congrats Wolfie, hope it all goes well for you both.
|
Sue's not afraid of the big Badwolf!
;-)
|
Will it be a Northern wedding? Do post some pictures of the fighting.
|
All the best Baddie, every day for the rest of your life tell her exactly how much you love her, how pretty she is etc.
|
Now that you are married, are you going to be GoodWolf?
|
Is it too late to save you?
|
If it was in a church, I hope the words aisle, altar and hymn came to mind.
|
I'll be looking for a new wife soon. Mine has just found a grey hair on her head.
|
You shall address me as your majesty
peasant
|
...Henry? is that you?...
The only Henry I know is a vacuum cleaner.
Hardest working member of the household, actually.
|
Thank you all for your good wishes, it really means a lot. We had a truly wonderful day filled with love, happiness and laughter and we are both still on cloud nine. Once MyDrive is up and running I'll try to post a couple of pictures.

...What a good idea!...
So long as he posts plenty of pics of the (adult) bridesmaids.
|
Congratulations Rob and Sue, I've been following your updates on Facebook and I'm really pleased for you both.
|
No doubt you're on honeymoon now, Badwolf, but when you see this, congratulations from me too.
SWMBO and I were married on 1 June 1974 so it'll be 36 years on Tuesday. Her first car - a cream-coloured Mini-Traveller (848 cc, 1965 vintage). What does she have now? A cream-coloured MINI Cooper convertible. Plus ca change.

Thanks Avant :-) We don't go on honeymoon until Saturday as we're going on a cruise so we're working to the sailing times of the boat (ship?). Just to make you all jealous, we're going on a 14 day cruise around the Med on the Grand Princess - can't wait!
I'm still on cloud nine, and I think that I will be for some time to come.
Thanks again for your good wishes folks - Sue's been reading this thread and has asked me to thank you all too.
Rob.
