Good age,he was born in Hull.Did the chicken act.Las time I saw him was at specsavers he needed glasses so did I.

Saw him perform in the mid 90s at a do at Beverley racecourse. Didn't realise it was a local gig for him. He was a bit past it even then. He appeared with his son.

I don't recall seeing him perform but reading the Beeb write up he clearly had a tough start in life, made good but stayed true to his roots; to make age 87 is a good run.

Local news full of good stories. They even spoke to the guy who made the car window.
One of his endearing features was that he was a Gentleman. Heard a story today where he walked into a local Alliance and Leicester which was in the process of being robbed and apparently he gave a good account of himself.
