Strangely enough I was talking to my B I L and nephew ref Andrew Moorey only yesterday. They and I have use Andy for servicing our cars. I have used him quite regularly for servicing SWMBO's Yaris and my company Vectra . He sorted a problem on the Vectra after the local main agent and independent could not. Very genuine guy and a reliable and trusty mechanic. I have not seen him on the HJ or at all on car4play site for quite some time but he lives near to myself ( and car4play ) in Sussex. I was told he has given up the mobile business and gone static , he is still working in Gatwick area if anyone needs him..... Reply to this message | Report message

Sign of the times BB. Business at all levels has become ridden with nastiness and duplicity in recent times. Several customers of mine I would once have trusted implicitly to play fair are regularly lying to us, failing to pay bills, wriggling out of contracts etc etc. The irony is that in many cases if they would just tell the truth, admit that they have difficulties and communicate honestly with us, we could probably work something out with them. Businesses and individuals lying, cheating and trying to get one over on suppliers does though now seem to be the norm. Reply to this message | Report message
