Just glad that some other people got reports like me!
One of the better ones I got was "If he had put half as much effort into this subject as me into his teaching, he would have got a very good grade"

From my art college report, 1969, which my son unearthed recently...

'Michael is still dodging the issue: he has ability, imagination and intelligence BUT he does not exert himself beyond the minimum necessary for any situation. A pity this, for he could go far.'

Well, I must say my strategy has seen me through the ensuing 43 years, but only as far as France Profonde - 500 miles from where that was written.
