That got me thinking.............if you go into a mobile phone shop they do not have sales assistants, they have mobile phone consultants.
One of my sons is a 1st class Hons & is a Chartered Engineer who hires himself out as a consultant. The surgeon who operated on me for 4 hours was a consultant! Different league from a phone shop.
When i started work there were clerks and clerkesses and now they are all Admin Assistants!
