VHS to Mac transfer. - R.P.
In a bid to further de-clutter I have some VHS videos I want to digitise. Is there a simple RPproof process ? Seem some kit on Amazon etc...

e.g.

I have the same thing, albeit a different brand (easycap). Plugging stuff together is simplicity itself, but using the software takes a bit more fiddling.

Once you've worked it through its fine, just be careful of the file sizes you can generate. It also tends to be a bit time consuming since tapes have to be done in real time.

Once you've set it up its quite tough to screw up.

Nonetheless it works well, and will achieve what you want.

Got this one in the end. Opened box (the one from Sortation) - took bits out, loaded CD - plugged in the bits into the back of the VHS and hey - it works. Works well with iMovie and iDVD. Happy Bunny now.
