I just wrote a long post on phage therapy and lost it!

I suggest that if you are interested, Google it and decide if the boy maybe a a lucky long term survivor in the face of a global epidemic of some nasty (yet undiscovered) disease.

So basically, a bacteriophage is a virus that they use to seek and destroy bacteria.

The phages are collected from sewage, and also corpses, nice :(

Interesting field of research though, especially in regard to MRSA, and hopefully C Difficile, one day.
