I have Windows 7. I note Chrome offers fast start-up, loading and search. Are there any snags?

If you mean chrome the browser and not chrome the OS, then no, no real snags. People will moan they can't control it to the n'th degree, and claim its breaches privacy with its data gathering (only technical) but its no problem to the rapidly increasing user base.
Its a good, light, fast browser.

I use Chrome occasionally - but where is their 'Home' button?
|
Top LH corner, next to the refresh button :)

Now got Chrome. Certainly faster but difficult to handle Favorites: there is no Add to Favourites tab. There is another way in but then there is no Sort by Name facility to get a new addition in alphabetical order. Also, all User IDs, Passwords etc. were lost and had to be entered anew.

I'm waiting to see the solution to that before I start using the Chrome I've installed.

Eh? My copy has a yellow star in the address bar. Thump that and it adds the current address as a bookmark. What could be simpler?
In fact it's a shade too simple, some confirmation would be nice as it's a bit easy to hit accidently.

That, and more, in the link above.

Excellent TeeCee, I never would have guessed although it still doesn'tseem possible to sort in alphabetical order.

I don't know why I bother :(

I don't, when someone boldly claims "there is no Add to Favourites tab"; rather than ask "where is the Add To button - coz I can't see it".

No idea what one of these is? Should I have one? Am I missing out?
|
You've left it too late. There's none left.

I can sell him mine, I don't need it any more.
