Interesting idea in Australia - a retailer over there is making customers who access the site using IE7 pay an extra 6.8% due to the cost to them of supporting it:

And does one get a discount for using a proper browser rather than one that thinks it specifies HTML?

I believe Chrome and Firefox properly use the specification.
