We are going to see Coldplay at the Etihad stadium in Manchester on Sunday. We have to drive due to there being no suitable train home at the end of the gig.
We have never been to the Etihad before so would appreciate some advice on where to park. There are some car parks you can book in advance but a football site I looked at said that on match days ad-hoc car parks spring up. Would you expect these to spring up for a gig? Getting out at the end of the show is also a consideration - I remember ut taking about an hour to get out of the car park at Old Trafford
Oh, and are there any places to have a bit of dinner before the gig near the ground?
