My favourite prank may be apocryphal but was when the Cambridge students spotted somecouncil workmen digging up a road in the city on April 1st......

They told the workmen that a group of students dressed as policemen were going to try to arrest them as an April Fools prank.....

They then rang the police as concerned residents and told them that a group of students were digging up the road as an April fools prank and could they do something about it.....

.. they then stood back and watched the mayhem develop as the police arrived to try and make an arrest.

Brilliant.

I was born on April Fools Day, but my youngest Brother was 16 yrs old and my Mother was 43 yrs old so I was a mistake, so I was always told:)
