Its a fiat of some kind - panda-ish Location is interesting. Western Europeans in background, The guy in the back looks slightly Slavic, the trees are not western European natives, and the architecture is far eastern foreground with colonial fake rococo/gothic background suggesting a Spanish or Portuguese colony. I think it's a Panda. It would be unmistakable with the tailgate shut. There was a Seat Marbella, which was based on the Panda but I don't think it was one of the Fiats licensed to be built in Serbia by Zastava. A bit of googling (found www.numberplates.com , which has a section on styles by country) backs Alanović's suggestion of Russia. And the lack of door handles and the lower-door pressings / mouldings says Panda or something Panda-derived. Ticos, whoever made them, seem to have door handles. My money is on it being a relative of a Mk1 Panda - the earliest of the old ones ~ circa 1982, give or take two. in addition to the generic shape being correct, the crease down the side is right (although the grey finish below it is missing), the way of opening the door, and the lack of bulge over the rear wheel arch are all right. the back lights are right But the drivers door glass is wrong - the earliest had a sort of quarter light arrangement, later ones had a single piece of glass: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4c/Fiat_panda_1_v_sst.jpg Reply to this message | Report message

Going by the number plate, it's Russia or Tajikistan. I think they are the only ex-Soviet countries who still use the "small-upper-case-letter-at-the-start" format. Armenia's a possibility too, I think. I recognise the palatial building in the background and am racking my brains but can't think what/where it is specifically.
