It seems exemplary driving to me.
It looks like a road safety film demonstrating how to make brisk but sensible progress.
Good approach to roundabouts, slows to give way to traffic on the right, but then slots in smoothly maintaining a reasonable speed with no sudden movements.
Good lane discipline,clearl;y aware of approaching possible hazzards.

Have we been shown the wrong clip?

I'm guessing that Halfords didn't contact the BBC, so one can only assume it was the mortally offended and shocked "Mr. Ingram".

I wonder why?

Nothing wrong with the driving in the clip and indeed, I don't mind my mechanic taking the car for a drive when in for a service, might notice something I've gradually grown used to.

However, the report mentions 7 hours of footage! was the car driven by the Halfords guy for 7 hours?

Truly appalling that. One wonders whether the car was even old enough to be 'serviced'. The mechanic should get porridge for what may amount to young car abuse. Automotive noncing, that's what it looks like.
