...years ago, myself and SWMBO got snowed-in for two days at The Wild Duck at Ewen in the Cotswolds of all places. No sign of snow when we arrived, almost a foot 3 hours later.

The chef couldn't get through, so the food was rather more basic than expected, but at least the cellar was full.

The roads were still "interesting" when we finally managed to get away.
