Well as a follow up, as a regular happy user of the Autoglym products I bought their version and watched the youtube video.

Just applied it and they have come up nice and shiny and clear. Was fearing the worse as, up until the polish was applied at the end, they still looked cloudy but once the polish was on and buffed they were gleaming again!
