 Broadband options. - FotheringtonTomas
I have put this here rather than "computing related" since it's a question unlike "My computer has broken...", and relates to telephones too.

Anyway.

I need broadband at a place. It is residential, has an existing BT line, is about 1/2 mile from an exchange. 2GB cap would be OK, 10GB more than adequate. It doesn't have to be the very fastest, but should not be slow. BT line rental is currently paid, and a "cheap provider" (18866) used for calls, normally half a dozen a day at most. This setup could either continue or be changed.

All the "stuff" ancilliary (rental not included, free calls ar weekends or when the sun goes behind a cloud, that sort of thing) is a nightmare to comprehend.

If you've been through this, or know the topic inside out, what's a good package?
