I haven't found the detailed specification for this box but the 'incompatible' comment probably means that this unit doesn't have an RF modulator i.e. you can't tune in an analogue telly to view the box's output as a 'normal' analogue TV channel, like we used to do with VCRs.

This is unlikely to be an issue for you, as the unit has two SCART sockets and HDMI, so provided your telly has a SCART socket or HDMI then you are OK.
