 Reflections on Winter - old dog new trick - Vicar of Bray
I`ts been a while since remember a winter like this - perhaps it was around 87 that I drove a 2cv through similar weather. Ice scrapers seemed the latest `in` way of clearing windows then, but I remember scratches on the glass,if you looked closely with the sun on the screen.

You think perhaps there is nothing BASIC really to learn after a few decades - but it was an eye opener to me to learn that no one had a cracked screen following using warm water (other forum thread). I guess (to me anyway) that was as real eye opener, as my previous perspective was that it was a pretty stupid think to do.
I can still be wrong on basics then, after all these years thinking of and working on cars..

I`m using barely warm water now and saving 10 minutes on the drive with the car warming up.
Funny that. Although I guess Drax has to kick in a bit extra to warm the water.

Wonder what else I have missed?
