Modern equivalent of removing HT leads? - Bobby
With the amount of car theft nowadays down to keyless entry, OBD ports attacked etc, am wondering if there is a modern equivalent of when we used to remove HT leads or even the whole battery back in the 80s (before I learnt to fit Moss alarms).
I know of the Ghost immobiliser system and I remember back to my 1983 Polo and I had a similar process. I had blank dashboard switches but these were actually wired to the ignition and the ignition wouldn’t go live unless the false heated rear window switch was in the right position.

Crooklocks are no good, most thief’s nowadays carry battery operated angle grinder.

Any simple deterrents?
