I am still looking around for a new / low mileage car on Autotrader
Just browsing yesterday I came across Mazda CX5 2.5 4x4 petrol
2.5 year old, low mileage cars are around £31K - there were 4/5 for sale.
Coincidentally I received an email from a Broker for September New Reg offers
The list price of the top of the range Takumi model is over £41,000
The discounted price is a bit over £36K - you pay the dealer and are the 1st owner of the car - not pre-reg/fleet registered etc etc
Comparison of £36+K brand new top of the range model or £31K for a lower spec 2.5 year old 10K+ miles
I rest my case - can there be a "pricing market" where all the dealers fail to compete.
