Voltages and extension cables - smokie
I am having issues with a Raspberry reporting undervoltage. They apparently kick out this error at anything under 4.65 volts. This is plugged into a 4 way extension, which is chained off another.

I'm wondering if this is similar to when I plug in a part charged iPod into an extension, and it doesn't seem to realise it's been plugged in, but works fine from a wall socket.

Does voltage (or something) get reduced by use of extension leads? I've not got a lot of choice really as my office is actually the third bedroom and only has 1 wall socket, but probably 15 or more (very low load) things running from it on chained extensions.
