Having watched just a couple of speeches including Starmer's.

I couldn't help but fee somewhat nauseated by all the sycophantic nodding, gesturing applauding and standing to promises that in the current climate will either not be deliverable or forgotten come general election time.

Is this some sort of subliminal tactic being used ion the Red Wall voters or is it just a given that now they achieved 'getting their country back' they will return to the fold.
