 "t'Wicker wheer t'watter runs o'er t'weir" - L'escargot
Our Lincoln-born granddaughter will shortly be going to Sheffield Hallam University and we've been trying to teach her some Sheffield words/phrases so that she'll be able to make herself understood. Does the younger generation of Sheffield-born people still say "t'Wicker wheer t'watter runs o'er t'weir"?
