Others will be here soon to say check the codes for the orange 'check engine' light.
I would check any air intake pipes for splits, has it got plenty of fuel in, when was it last serviced (plugs, air filter etc)
My old Mazda would buck when setting off intermittently, turned out to be a split in the rubber air intake bellow. Fine when cruising but the rocking of the engine in setting off in first gear caused it to open the bellow and expose the slit to air. Cured by a bicycle puncture repair kit!
You can get a cheapo sub £10 ODB code cable (ELM327) to connect to a Windows 7 PC. I have one and it gives you some basic pointers to help identify the fault.
