...................to think of the 5 British servicemen killed in the helicopter crash in Afghanistan a few days ago.
I understand that repatriation is tomorrow.
A personal interest here, as my daughter is married to a REME avionics specialist, (currently in Afghanistan) usually attached to the Army Air Corps. That Corps and its support services, is a small entity and many of the personnel are known to each other.
The mood is sombre in Odiham (where they were based) and Wattisham (where a number have served).
