Can't help agreeing with CGN. My strong impression is that any major football game takes place amid an unseemly and quite often distasteful clamour, chants reeking with racist or personal abuse, sometimes showers of missiles and eruptions of yobboes onto the pitch, etc., but most of all noise at huge volume.
I find the vuvuzela chorus restful and pleasant, as people point out like the buzzing of bees on a summer afternoon. Those who complain about it are a bunch of boring old women (yes comrades, that means you).
