Well after 43 years with a clean licence I got a NIP in the post yesterday.......


Apparently doing 57 in a 50 mph on the final approach to the tolls at the Dartford Tunnel Saturday lunchtime .....

........ It was a momentary distraction by my BiL pointing out that the toll was now £2 rather than £1.50 that SWMBO had prepared and as I asked if anyone had another 50p I spotted the 50 signs by which time it was too late....not an excuse but it still hit my pride in maintaining a clean licence for such a long time.


Hopefully I will be offered a speed awareness course and I would enjoy and learn from that rather than £100 fine and three points .


So I wondered .....What is the record for the longest held clean licence on here ?
