Wonderful evening.
Mrs Z did join me after persuading me to ditch Wetherspoons and go for to an independent pizza restaurant a few doors up from the cinema. Excellent choice, though a little more expensive than 'Spoons.
The cinema is based at a local (ex) market town some 18 miles distant. It's a volunteer run establishment / charity dating from the late 1800s I guess. It has a great façade that hides an oblong brick built cinema. My TV screen takes up more of my vision than the cinema screen did. The staff could do with some people skills training.
The play was very enjoyable. Well worth the ticket price, but I think I prefer the original film.
Mrs Z really enjoyed it. She hasn't seen the film.
