Had missed this news until I heard a conversation this morning about him. As a result of his work, over 5 million babies have been brought into the world.

He did not patent his work as it was motivated by his belief that children are the most important thing in life.

It's no biggie to be honest. There are 15 year old boys on certain estates that are on target to top this by the time they reach their 21st. ;-)

Seeing as most of the world's problems are founded on 'overpopulation' (and religion), I'm not sure that this is entirely a good thing.

Five million in over thirty years is diddle in world population terms. Ad in fact that most are likley to be born in the developed world and by definition to people without large families I don't see anything to worry about.
