If you own an Astra (built between 2004 & 2007) or a Zafira (built between 2005 to 2007) check to see if your horn works with the headlights on.
It was mentioned on Watchdog last night:-
www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2010/04/horn_doesnt_warn.html#more
An MOT tester will not notice this fault unless the headlights are switched on at the time he is conducting the test.
If you've already paid to have this repair rectified, providing you have the invoice you can claim a refund from Vauxhall.
All the info is in the above link.

How much is it if your car is out of warranty?

IIRC, Vauxhall will repair for free (as per the Field Remedy) as they know its a recognised fault.
Can't access the vid clip at work unfortunately.

In that case, its no problem!

Provided you are the first owner of the car and purchased it from Vx UK, the car was not fit for purpose when supplied, so they must do it for free.
If you subsequently bought it from a dealer, then I'd argue that the same applies.
It is a fault that was proveably there at the time of sale.
If you bought it from a private individual, then bad luck.
