Niebough asked if I could have a look at his new netbook, as it wouldn`t come on. All that would happen is that the Power-light would come on and that literally was it, he also brought his recovery disc wich was great, except there is no drive to put it in!
Luckily, I have an external usb cd drive, so I plugged it in and switched on, the netbook booted right up no problems! removed the drive, Cured!
So what was causing the original fault? - I could understand a corrupted driver issue if the boot-up had begun, but it was dead from the off! - any ideas? pls.
