VOSA inh their wisdom, have decided to post their educational DVD's on You Tube instead of making them available on disc by request.
I need to be able to insert some You Tube clips into a presentation.
I know other people do it but I've messed about all morning now and still haven't succeeded....Help please!

Basically you need to capture them first with a tool.

If you mean video from here:
www.youtube.com/transportgovuk?gl=US&user=transportgovuk#p/u/7/eIeQg0TJRK0
Then if you use Firefox and then get something like the Download Helper plugin, you should be able to save the Flash Video Files (FLV) to your computer.
If you want to change the quality and perhaps convert them into proper MPEG4 files you could use Handbrake to transcode the video files.

That's the sort of thing, and it seems that most official sites are doing them via online media now.
I haven't got an internet connection in my training rooms, so I think that's where I've been going wrong...I don't think the dongle would do it?
