I need to get some new ink for my Brother printer. I don't usually buy original Brother cartridges, but instead generic ones from Amazon.
Somebody suggested that I try cartridge world and just get the old ones refilled.
Has anybody used CW, are they any good, and are they good value?

Yes, they will do that (just give you the equivalent replacement cartridge on the spot), but it's normally much cheaper to use www.diskdepot.co.uk or similar and buy enough to last for a while to make the most of the delivery charge.
Last time I went into Cartridge World (one near where I live) for a Samsung cartridge for a fax machine on behalf of a friend, the cost was the same as buying TWO cartridges on-line and delivered next day. I politely refused.

I used to use them before I moved to Dorset. I found the good value then (for HP cartridges) and always very helpful. I had one failure but that was replaced without question.
Problem is, I think they're a franchise, so no one person's experience will be the same as another's.
