How the dickens did the BT home hub get in at nbr 5? This is just an advertising feature. Now if it had been the top 50 of all time...
I nominate the 360 architecture which is still going strong in it's latest incarnation for nbr 1, with the DEC PDP at nbr 2. I suppose the Intel pc has to appear at nbr 3 and then.... where's our resident hardware expert?

It is amazing to see how the technology keeps advancing - makes you wonder where we'll be in another 20 or 30 odd years.

Let me see. 360 was born in 1964, migrated to 370, then MVS, Then MVS/SE, MVS/SP, then MVS/XA, MVS/ESA, then OS/390, then Z/OS, currently on version 12.
So, in 20 years time the world will still be turning on Z/OS V32.
