Have a need to run a pc projector quite a distance from the PC (maybe 30 meters). Is this feasable or is there another way?

Yes, feasible and very common. Around £40 for a 30m VGA.

Errr
Your mileage may vary. Don't be disappointed if you shell out 40 quid and the picture is rubbish.

I once tried a VGA cable of a much shorter distance. As zero says the picture was rubbish.
This is why digital signals over HDMI and DisplayPort finally arrived. Is this an option? You are likely to get better results. But you'd need to check if this is even possible - Z will probably say it's not in the spec of HDMI 1.x off the top of his head.
To send signals further you might be looking at something to send this info digitally over CAT5 cables.

There is no HDMI maximum length spec. It very much it works till it stops kind of scenario with that. The picture will become unstable and freeze or blink (depending on the screen)

True, maximum practical length without fancy signal boosters/regeneration is typically about 10m - depending on what flavour HDMI you're sending down it. Given the high data rates and lack of error correction not an ideal format for long distance video signal transmission, but then that's not what it's meant for.

True, sorry. Should have asked what the application will be and what you are trying to achieve.
The nature of the question would suggest that you are not using a high end projector with a screen worth thousands. But yeah yeah, never assume & all that.
No point spending upwards of 150 quid on a cable if the rest of the equipment is not up to it.

That seems a suitable solution.
Thanks to everyone for their comments-most helpful.

I wouldn't waste money on the Video Sender, not reliable enough.
