I've just updated to version 5.0.0.152.
Any video calls I now make show a mirror image at my end. I've been through Skype Tools - Options - Video settings and I see a true image.
I've checked my video image directly and get a true image.
I've looked through the help pages to no avail.
Any suggestions?

no idea what you are on about as last time i went to the isle of skype it was shut
however why not uninstal your latest update and go back to the last known update that worked

If I un-install and re-install I end up with the version I've got now (fishing rod an'all). ;>)

Can't help with your mirror image problem, but it seems to be a common problem reported from years ago.
As for reinstall, you have two options at least, assuming you are using windows XP or later (helps if you state the make, model, engine, etc. for your technical questions):
one, use system restore to get back to previous known good date/time.
two, download and use older version from here www.filehippo.com/download_skype/8287/

Is this any good?
Skype>Tools>Options>Video Settings>Webcam settings..... find the settings there to reverse the presentation.
