Having left paid employment at CA I'm intending to volunteer at the local branch.
Inevitably that involves 'on boarding' and completion of forms, some mandatory training etc.
My manager emailed me, via Gmail, a list of the links I'd need to complete those tasks. We were also supposed to have a quick teams type chat today.
On checking my calendar and email yesterday I couldn't find invite etc for teams chat. Emailed manager, responding to the long email with links asking her to either let me have an invite or remind me of time previously agreed.
New invite sent and meeting done.
Went to start on the list of stuff to do and it was nowhere to be seen.
Had to wait for her to finish other meetings before she could re-send which she did.
Seems that Gmail, in 'conversation' mode, had nested all content in one 'chat' but was leaving some content invisible and not accessible.
Now gone into settings and turned convo mode off.
Normal service resumed!!

What are you using as your email client?
|
Is Google/gmail an email client?
CA seem to use it across all local offices.

I've more or less given up on it. It stopped forwarding my outlook account - it stopped a couple of years ago and I couldn't re-start it. It's more or less a dead thing now.
Also have a 'work' one - that works pretty well.

Gmail is a server, you access it by a client app, or on the web.

Assume on the web. open a chrome window and select Gmail from Google Apps.
