The WiFi router is in one of the front bedrooms because that's where the FTTH cable enters the house.

We recently refurbished the room and added a proper bed rather than an uncomfortable sofabed.

The base is metal and of course the mattress has 1100 springs.

Unfortunately, this that nobbled the WiFi.

I had been getting about 500mbs prior to the bed. Now I am getting 7mbs.

The router confirms that it's getting 1,000 downstream.
